Key Features

The Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar has a 32mm crossbar and projects further from the wall than many standard wall mounted bars, leaving room for kipping, freestyle work, levers and muscle-ups. It measures 1208 x 807.5 x 500mm (W x H x D) and weighs 9kg. The Wall Mounted Dip Bar has 42mm handles, measures 707 x 350 x 50mm, weighs 4kg and arrives pre-assembled. Both are rated to a maximum user weight of 250kg when correctly installed, and both are zinc coated before powder coating. Heavy-duty wall anchors are included.

Where and How to Use Wall Mounted Equipment

Both products are fixed to the wall, so they suit a permanent training space: a garage, home gym, outdoor wall or commercial gym. They are zinc and powder coated for indoor and outdoor use, so they can be fitted to an exterior brick wall as well as an interior one. The supplied anchors are designed for solid brick only. Do not fix into mortar, and check the wall before installing. Fitting is a two-person job and needs a suitable masonry drill. The dip bar arrives pre-assembled, while the pull up bar needs some assembly before it is mounted.

Exercises and Applications

The pull up bar supports pull-ups, chin-ups, dead hangs, hanging leg raises, muscle-ups, levers, kipping pull-ups, freestyle movements and weighted calisthenics. The dip bar supports dips, weighted dips, L-sits, support holds and handstand work. Together they cover the main vertical pulling and pushing movements in calisthenics from a single wall.

Benefits

A wall mounted setup is fixed, so it does not move under load and takes up no floor space. The 250kg rating, when correctly installed, leaves headroom for weighted pull-ups and weighted dips as strength develops. The extra wall clearance on the pull up bar allows dynamic movements that bars sitting close to the wall do not leave room for. The 42mm dip bar handles are thicker than most parallette or pull up bar grips, which can be more comfortable on the wrists.

Materials and Build Quality

Both products are zinc coated and then powder coated, giving weather resistance for year-round indoor and outdoor use. The 250kg load rating applies when the product is correctly fitted into suitable solid brick with the supplied anchors. Both are covered by a 5-year warranty.

Care and Maintenance

Wipe the bars down after use, particularly where chalk or sweat builds up, to keep the grip surface consistent. Check the wall fixings periodically, especially on equipment used for weighted or dynamic work, and tighten or re-fit if there is any movement. Outdoor installations benefit from an occasional wipe to remove dirt and moisture, even though the coating is designed for weather exposure.
