Gravity Fitness "Macebells" Steel Mace 4kg - 12kg

Quality feel, does what it says on the tin !!

I’ve been training with a 5k mace for a while. Then got myself a trainer to really progress. At his recommendation I got an 8k mace from Gravity. I’d give them full stars for everything in all honesty. The mace has a great balance to it, no faults or imperfections at all. It was also packaged very carefully. Delivery time was minimal. When the times right, I’ll be back for my next weight up. Cheers Gravity 👍🏻

I reviewed the 4KG Macebell and have now bought the 6 and 8KGs. Great purchases. As with the 4KG, they were delivered quickly. They 6 and 8 are taller than the 4 with a thicker grip. I've not had them long, but my the ticker stems have strengthened my grip and increase muscle size of my forearms without me even realizing. Somebody told me they noticed the change in them and thought I was taking something I shouldn't, if you know what I mean. I thanked them as I took that as proof of the effectiveness of Macebells.

I don't have any Indian Clubs, but the Macebells have knurling half way up the stem enabling you to mimic them. I use that hand position to add lots of rotation and mimic throwing and reversing that movement.

Another plus point is that they don't take up much room at all and can be hidden away, even in you living room, without anybody really noticing.

I will be buy the 10 and 12 kg, once my strength increases (don't tell my wife. LOL)

As a side note I've noticed 10-2's are easier with the 8KG than the 4KG. I thought that was strange at first, but I'm putting this down to being naturally "forced" to use my core when performing the exercise, which is a more natural path of the movement.

I spent quite a long time deciding which Macebells to get, and in the end I chose the full set — and I have absolutely no regrets. It turned out to be an excellent decision.

I already own the Gravity Fitness Steel Indian Clubs, Clubbells 12kg and 20kg, but the Macebells have taken my training to a whole new level. They have added a completely different challenge and opened up new possibilities in my workouts.

I am genuinely very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their strength training equipment.

I took the advice of a number of people on YouTube to start light and I'm glad I did. I bought the 4kg, which was delivered quickly and is great. It has a great grip and the difference it has made to my shoulders and up chest in such a short time cannot be under estimated When my technique improves further I'll be buying the 6kg.
