The extension kit is as portable as your Pull Up Rack. It fits in your existing rack bag and requires no additional tools for assembly.

Can I do kipping exercises with the extended rack?

No, the rack is lightweight (which is how it can be portable) which means kipping could cause it to tip. Stick to strict movements.

What new exercises can I perform with the extended rack?

The increased height allows for muscle ups, dead hangs, and other exercises that require more vertical space.

Extension.

Had the freestanding bar for a couple years, just added the addition of the extention. My room is a tad shy of 2.3m (pretty standard,) so was a tight fit; Had to rebuild top down to swing the feet in.

The additional height has taken away on the bar pullups, but no issue if training with rings; It's nice now to be able to do deadhang rings PU's.

The additional diagonals have made a huge difference, zero flex, & the additional benefit of no creaking.

Quality kit

Recently took delivery of the Pull up Rack and extension kit with a pair of wooden gym rings and have to say overall I’m very pleased with it. It was very easy to assemble, feels very solid in use and looks very tidy in the corner of our gym. The only slight criticism is that the extension kit fastening screws mark the frame where they attach, I ended up putting a piece of chopped up carpet tile between the screws and frame to protect it from further damage which works fine. Not too worried as I will be leaving it in place. Overall it’s a Quality bit of kit

If I could give more than 5* I would! Fast shipping and well packaged. Amazing quality pull up bar which is so secure! It’s the perfect addition to my home gym. Easy to put together and dismantle, can be took with you if your travelling!

Solid kit

Works really well for when I’m away in the uk. I was tempted to give it 4 stars based on the fact I think it could do with pins at the bottom instead of the click in and out things like on a tent pole. A little tricky to get it apart at the base. If it had pins you could put it away in seconds. Apart from that it’s a solid sturdy bit of kit and did the job I needed it to do very well.

I've had the standard pull up kit for years and it hasn't let me down once. It's amazing how much it has helped me with my calisthenics journey.
