The Portable Bodyweight Pull Up Rack is highly stable for controlled movements such as pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, inverted rows and core work.

Because it is designed to be lightweight and portable, some movement is normal with a freestanding rack. For the most stable setup, use the rack on a flat, level surface and make sure all components are correctly assembled before training.

We do not recommend using the rack for kipping pull-ups, muscle-ups or other explosive movements, as these can cause a freestanding rack to move or tip.

For controlled calisthenics and bodyweight strength training, it provides a stable training platform without needing to permanently fix equipment to a wall or ceiling.

No. The Portable Bodyweight Pull Up Rack is designed for controlled strength movements rather than explosive or momentum-based exercises.

We do not recommend using it for kipping pull-ups, muscle-ups or other explosive movements. The additional forces generated during these exercises can cause a lightweight freestanding rack to move or tip.

If your training mainly consists of strict pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, inverted rows, leg raises, static holds and similar controlled calisthenics movements, the Portable Pull Up Rack is a great choice.

The Portable Pull Up Rack can be used for a wide range of calisthenics and bodyweight exercises, including pull-ups, chin-ups, inverted rows, dips, leg raises, incline press-ups, front and back lever progressions, static holds and resistance band exercises.

You can also attach equipment such as gymnastic rings and resistance bands to add even more exercise options.

The rack is best suited to controlled strength training rather than kipping, muscle-ups or explosive movements.

The Extension Kit increases the height of the Portable Pull Up Rack by approximately 30cm, taking the maximum height from 192cm to 220cm. It also adds extra stability and increases the maximum recommended user weight from 110kg to 200kg.

The additional height is particularly useful for taller users who want more clearance beneath their feet when performing pull-ups and dead hangs.

You may not need the Extension Kit if the standard 192cm height gives you enough clearance and your total training load is below 110kg.

We recommend the Extension Kit if you're taller, want the additional height and stability, or need the higher 200kg maximum user-weight capacity.

The Extension Kit includes four extension bars, four screw-tightening brackets and two extension inserts that fit onto the existing rack uprights.

The Portable Bodyweight Pull Up Rack has a maximum recommended user weight of 110kg in its standard configuration.

When fitted with the Gravity Fitness Extension Kit, the maximum recommended user weight increases to 200kg.

If you're training with additional weight, such as a weighted vest or dip belt, remember to include this when calculating your total training weight. Your bodyweight plus any additional load should remain within the recommended capacity of the rack.

The Portable Pull Up Rack can be used on a range of surfaces, including solid flooring, gym mats, carpet and grass.

Its rubber feet help provide grip and stability, but for the best results we recommend using it on a flat, level surface.

As with any freestanding training rack, very soft or uneven ground can reduce stability. Before training, check that all four feet are securely in contact with the ground and that the rack is stable.

The Portable Pull Up Rack has a footprint of approximately 116cm × 120cm (around 1.2m × 1.2m) and reaches a maximum height of 192cm in its standard configuration or 220cm when fitted with the Extension Kit.

We recommend allowing some additional clear space around the rack so you can perform exercises safely without coming into contact with walls, furniture or other equipment.

Because the rack collapses flat when not in use, it's particularly well suited to home gyms, garages and other spaces where permanently installed gym equipment isn't practical.

Choose the Advanced Pull Up Rack if you have more space and want a more permanent, all-in-one training station. Its dedicated dip bars mean you can switch between pull-ups and dips without changing the rack setup, while the smaller 32mm pull-up bar can provide a more secure grip, particularly for higher-rep or weighted pull-ups.

If portability matters most, choose the Portable Rack. If convenience and a more permanent setup matter more, choose the Advanced Rack.

Yes. The Portable Pull Up Rack is suitable for beginners through to experienced calisthenics athletes, provided it is used for controlled movements within its stated weight capacity.

Beginners can use it to build strength with exercises such as assisted pull-ups, inverted rows, dips and resistance band exercises before progressing to full pull-ups and more advanced bodyweight movements.

More experienced athletes can use the rack for strict pull-ups, dips, leg raises, lever progressions, weighted exercises and static holds.
